01. Do I need travel industry experience to get started?
Not at all. Our “New to Travel” path is specifically designed for complete beginners. We start with industry basics and build your knowledge step by step. Many of our most successful advisors started with zero travel background.
It depends on your experience level and how much time you can dedicate. Most new advisors complete the core foundation in 4-6 weeks studying part-time. Experienced agents can fast-track through the onboarding in as little as 1-2 weeks. All training is self-paced with live workshops available weekly.
We offer both. Our core curriculum is available on-demand through our online learning platform, accessible 24/7. We also host live virtual workshops weekly and in-person training intensives quarterly in major Canadian cities. You can choose the format that works best for your schedule.
Yes. Every new advisor is paired with a senior mentor for their first 90 days. Beyond that, you have access to our entire support team — including marketing coaches, technology specialists, and supplier experts — through our dedicated Slack community and weekly office hours.
We have a streamlined onboarding path for experienced agents that focuses on systems migration, commission structure differences, and client transfer protocols. We also help you understand what makes Ellison different so you can communicate that value to your existing clients.
Absolutely. Training never stops at Ellison. We release new monthly modules on emerging destinations, updated supplier products, advanced sales techniques, and business scaling strategies. All advisors get lifetime access to our training library and new content as it is published.
